2020 GNPC Ghana’s Fastest Human Launched

The 2020 edition of Ghana Fastest Human (GFH) has been successfully launched on 20th February, 2020 at the Accra Sports Stadium.


Addressing the Media at the launch, the Secretary to The President of The Republic of Ghana Nana Asante Bediatuo expressed his immense gratitude to the organizers of Ghana’s Fastest Human for their effort in unearthing young talents who seek to raise the flag of Ghana high at various competitions.


He further assured the GFH organizers of the support of The President of Ghana with regards to the development of sports in the country.
The Technical Advisor of The Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Emmanuel Owusu Ansah who stood in for the Sports Minister Hon. Isaac Asiamah, commended the Sponsors and all other stakeholders of The Ghana fastest human for their support since its inception in 2013 and reaffirmed the Sports Ministry’s readiness to provide young talents who partake in the GFH the with needed technical assistance.


Mr. Reks Brobby, CEO of the GFH project expressed appreciation to Government and other stakeholders for their support.


The GNPC Ghana Fastest Human is an annual athletics event aimed at unearthing and grooming talents for local and international competitions and is held across the country with all regions grouped in various zones. This year’s event will kick start in Tamale on the 29th February and would be climaxed on 20th June, 2020 at Paa Joe Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
Other dignitaries who graced the occasion were Nene Nagai Kasa VIII, Paramount Chief of Agomeda, The Director General of The National Sports Authority, Professor Peter Twumasi and Managing Director Ghana Commercial Bank, Mr. Ansslem Ray Sowah.
