The celebrated Ghanaian professional American footballer, Ezekiel Nana “Ziggy” Ansah, yesterday paid a courtesy call on Prof. Peter Twumasi, Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA) as part of his visit to Ghana to help promote American Football in the country particularly in our high schools.
This visit is a follow up to one last year when he organized nationwide training for students from senior high schools that witnessed the final selection at the University of Ghana, Legon in Accra.
During this visit, his Foundation proposed a working relationship with the National Sports Authority (NSA) and this was highly welcomed by both sides. It is expected that programmes for development and promotion of the sport will soon be rolled out across the country by the two partners.
