Scrabble Association Executives Pay Courtesy Call On The DG of NSA

The Ghana Scrabble Association had an online elections on 3rd June 2020. The elected executives paid a courtesy call on the Director General of the National Sports Authority, to introduce themselves to him.

Prof. Peter Twumasi expressed satisfaction with the processes they chose during this period of the covid-19 pandemic and advised the executives to abide by all the regulations that are enshrined in the sports Act 2016.

The newly elected president Mr. Adamu touched on his background and his achievements as a player and a professional security consultant.

The Director General congratulated the elected executives and asked them to work hard in partnership with the NSA so as to move the association to a professional status. Professor Twumasi further advised them to work on a comprehensive constitution which will be a legal document to guide the association’s activities adding that, they have to deposit a photo album of members with the Authority.

He also reiterated the NSA’s commitment to support the association if they should pursue sports at the grassroot level (Districts). The newly elected executives announced that they are going to organise a national virtual event.
