National COVID-19 Response Team Engages NSA’s COVID-19 Taskforce

The National Covid-19 response team on Monday 20th July, 2020 organised a workshop for the NSA Covid-19 taskforce team at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Head of Risk Communication of the National covid-19 response team who also doubles as Director of Health Promotion at the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Dacosta Aboagye stated that, all facilities including sporting facilities should make available hand washing buckets, soaps, thermometer guns and other equipment that will ensure safety at all times in the wake of the covid-19 pandemic.

He also urged the task-force to aid in the covid-19 education across the country. Dr. Aboagye further encouraged them to ensure the enforcement of the laid down protocols in the sports sector.

Other members of the National Covid-19 team present at the workshop were Dr. Evelyn Agyei Mensah and Dr. Lawrence Lartey.
