The new Executives of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), the football clubs’ welfare body, led by its Chairman, Mr Kudjoe Fianoo, paid a courtesy call on the Director-General of the National Sports Authority (NSA) to thank the Authority for supporting their recent electoral congress and also to officially express appreciation for an office space donated to GHALCA by NSA.
The Chairman introduced all the other new officers who accompanied him, and expressed their commitment to collaborate with the Authority to provide the needed services to advance development and promotion of football and other sports in Ghana. The Director General on his part thanked them for the courtesy call and hoped that the two parties will engage each other regularly on various fronts for mutual benefit. He encouraged the Association to establish their presence in all administrative regions for easy access to their services by all football clubs across the country.
He mentioned President Akufo-Addo’s government’s continuous efforts to establish new stadia of internal standards in all the 16 regions as well as renovating existing ones to enhance sports development in Ghana as a way of creating jobs, improving health and building cohesion among the people.
