The Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon Mustapha Ussif (MP) began his nationwide tour of sporting facilities under construction or renovation from the Accra Sports Stadium.
Members on his visiting team included the Chief Director of the Ministry, Alhaji Hafiz Adam, Director General of the National Sports Authority, Prof Peter Twumasi, MD of AESL (Consultant), Architect Isaac Adjei Marfo, representatives of the contractor, and other officers from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and National Sports Authority.
Detailed scope of work in all three phases of the renovation were discussed with the minister by the consultant/contractor and same inspected. The Minister commended the contractor for good work done so far and asked him to complete the remaining works quickly to pave way for handing over of the facility to MOYS/NSA to resume full operation.
