The newly appointed Acting (Ag.) Bono Regional Director of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Mr. Foster Kwame Opoku Boakye led his staff to pay a courtesy call on the Bono Regional Minister, Honorable Justina Owusu Banahene at the Bono Regional Coordinating Council on Tuesday 14th September, 2021.
On arrival, the team was welcomed by the Deputy Regional Coordinating Director, Honorable Micheal Kwabena Gyamfi who then ushered the team to the minister’s office.
The Ag. Regional Director in his introductory remark said, it was a pleasure to meet the Honorable Regional Minister and outlined the purpose of the visit.
Mr. Kwame Opoku Boakye introduced himself as the new Ag. Regional Director of the region and also introduced the other staff comprising Mrs. Ruth Quarcoo-the NSA Bono Regional Administrator, Mr. Kusi Emmanuel Boakye-Yiadom and Miss Sandra Kannor, Public Relations Officers.
Honorable Awo Banahene as she is popularly called welcomed the NSA team and congratulated the New Ag. Regional Director on his appointment.
The Honorable Regional Minister in her presentation also expressed her willingness to work and collaborate with the Sports Authority to identify, promote and develop talents in the Region.
