Director General of NSA, Prof Peter Twumasi & Ag. Ashanti Regional Director Emmanuel Kojo Appiah were at Paa Joe Stadium on KNUST campus on Saturday, November 27, 2021 to watch the Ghana Rugby team 7s world cup qualifiers.

The men’s team; the Eagles of Ghana have now booked a semifinal spot of the Rugby Africa 7s world cup qualifiers after an impressive display.
The men’s team of Ghana beat Niger 32-0 in the first game before winning 50-0 against Benin.

For the women, Ghana beat Togo by 51-0 before winning 19-17 against Burkina Faso. Ghana’s male team now will clash with Benin on day 2 on Sunday, November 28, 2021.
This is the first time Ghana is hosting the Rugby 7s tournament
