Winners of 2021 Para Badminton International Present Medals To Ashanti Regional NSA

Winners of the 2021 Para Badminton International on Wednesday 1, 2021 came to present their medals to the Ashanti Regional Directorate of The National Sports Authority (NSA).

The Acting (Ag.) Ashanti Regional Directorate of the NSA, Mr Emmanuel Kojo Appiah and his management welcomed the team that went to Uganda to compete for the 2021 Para Badminton International.

In his initial remarks, he congratulated the team on behalf of the Director General Prof. Peter Twumasi and NSA Ashanti.

He said, “we are aware of the inconveniences you face but we are thankful that even in your distressful situation you were able to win medals”.

“You have made, Prof. Twumasi, NSA Ashanti and Ghana proud. We appreciate you’’. He added.

Mr Salih Mohammed who led the team to Uganda stated, they didn’t come home empty handed but they came with the medals and they are the first to present their medals to him.

He presented to the Regional NSA Boss with three bronze and one silver medal.

Akosua Ampofowaa won a bronze medal for the mixed double, Juliana Ampofo also won a bronze for the mixed double and Asana won a bronze for the women’s mixed double.

Adizatu won a bronze medal for wheelchair 1 and 2 and a silver medal for wheelchair 2 single.
