The Ghana Bodybuilding and Fitness Association led by their Secretary General, Madam Christiana Ashley has presented medals and trophies won at the Arnold Classic Africa Contest held on 18th to 22nd May 2023 in South Africa.
In all Ghana won a total of 5 Medals at the tournament being 1 Gold, 3 Silver and 1 bronze medal.
Receiving the Medals and Trophies, Prof. Peter Twumasi congratulated the Team for once again bringing home laurels.
He expressed his appreciation to the handlers of the Team and the Athletes for consistently representing Ghana at such contests and winning Medals. He added that such achievements encourage more participation in the Sport, especially, with the inclusion of a Female medalist and called for more female participation in the Sport.
Madam Ashley thanked the NSA boss for his kind words and also took the opportunity to present her award for Outstanding Female Sports Personality that she picked up over the weekend at the Ghana Women’s Award held at the Conference Center in Accra.
