The Black Princesses of Ghana led by the technical team on Thursday paid a courtesy call on Ashanti Regional Director of NSA, Emmanuel Kojo Appiah at his office at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The Princesses are in Kumasi preparing for the second leg clash of the 2024 U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Senegal on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The Regional Director during the meeting offered his words of encouragement and assured the team of NSA’s readiness to assist them to victory.
He charged the ladies to complete the qualification series on a high in order to secure a spot in this year’s U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia to make Ghanaians proud.
Emmanuel Kojo Appiah added that, the team will not be left alone as he is confident, football fans in Kumasi will be at the stadium in their numbers to support the Princesses.
The players and the technical team also assured the NSA boss of Ashanti of their readiness to achieve the primary goal of qualifying to the U-20 Women’s World Cup by getting the desired result against Senegal this Sunday.
Ghana won the first leg away from home by 2-0 and an aggregate win for the ladies will seal qualification to the tournament.
