“Brong Ahafo fastest” is an annual event organized by the Regional Sports
Authority with the aim of discovering young talented children and adolescents
who are naturally endowed with speed. The discoveries would then be harnessed
with well-designed periodic developmental programs throughout the year. This
second edition of this initiative is expected to surpass the previous event, because
the various age categories have been broadened. Indomine Company Limited is
on board to feed all the participants and the officiating officials.
The junior
category will be expected to run the 60 meter dash whiles the seniors will run
over a distance of 100 meters for honours.
The winners in the senior category would be expected to compete in “Ghana’s
most fastest human championship”. Furthermore we shall map out strategies thatwill enable us monitor their performance. – Frank Boateng
