Ghana lost narrowly on penalties to the home team, Senegal. Shafiu Mumuni won the goal king award at the just ended WAFU tournament which saw the finals played between Ghana and Senegal.
The Director-General of the National Sports Authority who represented the Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Isaac Asiamah visited the Black Stars B (Local) team during their final training session for the WAFU Finals which came off in Dakar, Senegal. The players were very determined to make Ghana proud by retaining the trophy won in 2017. The coach of the team, Mr Maxwell Konadu was optimistic of the boys victory.
Also present was Ghana’s Ambassador to Senegal H.E. Mrs Gloria Poku and Chief Accountant of MOYS, Mr Emmanuel Oteng.
