Director-General Meets With GMGF

The Director General of the National Sports Authority, Professor Peter Twumasi this afternoon met a delegation from the Ghana Mini Golf Federation in Accra.

The Director General commended the delegation for the effort they are exerting to ensure that mini golf is promoted in Ghana adding that, there is the need to encourage young ones to participate in the activities of mini Golf. The federation was also advised to work with the Technical Department of the Authority to achieve full status as licensed federation to benefit from government subvention and other available privileges.

The President of the Ghana Mini Golf federation Mr. Talal Fattal, expressed their gratitude to the Director General of the NSA for his support for the federation and assured that, the mini golf federation will work hard to ensure they reach at least six regions in Ghana by the end of next year and host the Mini Golf world cup in 2022.

 He also presented the trophy that was won by the federation in the African Mini Cup of Nations after defeating Gabon who came second with Benin placing third.
