Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Professor Peter Twumasi on Saturday, July 3, 2021 paid a working visit to the Bono Regional directorate of the National Sports Authority. The visit was to amongst other things inspect some ongoing projects in the Bono region.
The indefatigable NSA boss, who interacted with the management of Bono region during the visit took the opportunity to inspect offices under construction and a borehole water system being drilled for the pitches and offices.
These offices when completed are expected to accommodate the new officers recruited by the NSA for the region to support sports development, management and promotion at the regional and district levels.
The Acting Regional Director and Administrator of the Bono Region, Mrs Ruth Qurcoo reported of current cordial relationship between stakeholders in sports within the region including federation and club heads, district assembly, Regional Coordinating Council and tenants at the stadium.
She also expressed her appreciation to the Authority for posting about fifteen (15) new officers to the region and she was optimistic, their presence will enhance sports development in the area.
