Ghana extends support to Liberian Football Association to play their 2022 WCQ at Accra Sports Stadium.

The Lone Stars of Liberia and the Tubaroes Azuis of Cape Verde yesterday October 6,2021, held a press briefing prior to today’s match, at the Accra Sports Stadium.


The Head Coach of the Liberia National Team, Coach Peter Butler disclosed that his team remains positive and prepared for the match.He mentioned that new players will be part of the selection for today’s match. He added that these new players represented the team at the just ended match in Egypt and believes they have gained that exposure, composure and are of strong physical size to perform.

Coach Butler further stated that, though the match will be competitive ,he’s optimistic the outcome will go in their favor .He explained that, they have no injuries recorded yet, and will be representing with 22/23 players having diverse option to choose from Allen Njie ,the captain of the team equally affirms their readiness ahead of the match and assured their supporters 100% victory.

According to Coach Pedro Brito of Cape Verde, the team is ready and will ensure they do their best. He is positive about the team’s victory and enlistment unto the Qualifiers for the World Cup. He is hopeful his team pulls an excellent  performance to get their 3point and rank 1st in their group.
