Ghana on March 18, 1978 became the first country to win the Africa Cup of Nations for keeps.
Ghana had on previous occasions won the cup in 1963 and 1965.
The Cup is called the Mustapha Cup. The Cup will be placed at the AFRICAN SPORT MUSEUM & HALL OF FAME project, which will be set up later as part of the African Games to be hosted by Ghana in 2023.
Ghana became CHAMPIONS fourth (4th) time in Libya 1982
