Ghana is to host the 13th African Games in 2023 and the flag change was performed during the 12th African Games 2019 Opening Ceremony held in Rabat, Morocco. The colourful occasion saw Ghana Flag taking over the management and hosting of the African “Olympic” sports for the next four years. Ghana was represented by dignitaries and contingent led by Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon Perry Okudjeto, and Director General of National Sports Authority, Prof Peter Twumasi.
