NSA Procures Stationery And Fertilisers

The National Sports Authority (NSA) has purchased stationery items that will be distributed to all the regional offices across the country.

These items which include packs of A4 sheets, notebooks, pens, solution tapes, etc. are to be distributed to all the regional offices under NSA, including the head office in Accra.

Head of Stores Department of the NSA, Mr. John Boaful explained that, the rationale behind the purchase of the items worth GH¢98,930.50 was to facilitate administrative work of the Authority. He added that, some of the regional offices have already taken delivery of their share of the items with the hope that the rest of the regional offices will receive theirs in the coming days.

In a related development, the Authority has also procured fertilisers, fungicides and pesticides that will be used in managing the pitches in all the stadia under the NSA.

According to Head of the Estates Department Mr. Ebo Andorful, the fertilisers were purchased to ensure that the pitches in all the various facilities are in good condition in readiness for the games that will played in the 2020/2021 upcoming league season. He further stated that, his outfit is working in partnership with the Green Grass Technology consultants in this speciaSSlised area of pitch management.

The fertilizers worth GH¢54,290.00 include 128 bags of NPK fertilisers, 24 of fungicide (Mancozeb), 24 bags of 4d Amine IL, 150 bags of SOP fertilisers and 24 chlorophylls insecticides.
