The National Sports Authority continues with its preparations towards the upcoming league season with the third phase of pitch preparation on Friday 23rd October 2020, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
This phase which started with the application of NPK 15.10.10 fertilizer comes after mowing works and the spraying of selective herbicide were done on the pitch.
The CEO of Green Grass Technology, Mr. Frank Boahene reiterated the importance of this phase to the development of the pitch, saying, it is the application of the fertilizer that will help to enrich the soil and make it grow, thus, bringing its green colorout as expected.
He however stated that, the development of the pitch will not end there but will continue in the subsequent days until it meets the required FIFA approved standard.
