A brief ceremony was held for Team Ghana ahead of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games via Zoom Platform at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, August 20, 2021.
The ceremony included the Minister of Youth & Sports, Hon. Mustapha Ussif as the special Guests of Honour were joined by the Chief Director, Alhaji Hafiz Adam, Director General Prof. Peter Twumasi, his deputy Mr Majeed who witnessed the handing over of the National Flag of Ghana by the sector Minister to the President of the National Paralympic Committee(NPC) Mr Samson Deen.
This singular act which symbolizes honour and sacrifice was to bid farewell to Team Ghana ahead of the competition and to urge the team uphold the flag of Ghana high and to make the Nation proud.
