The Combat Ju-Jutsu Federation, today, 9th October 2021, held a press briefing to unveil the possible host of the 2022 African Combat Championship.
The World President of the International Combat Ju-Jutsu, Mr.Vladyslav, in his opening submission expressed his gratitude to all present and for embracing this young federation here in Ghana. He disclosed that the sports which is an ancient Japanese’s marshal act is one of the sports that teaches self-defense and build the confidence of both young and old anywhere you find yourself. He stated that, since its introduction in African, Ghana happens to have shown keen interest and for this reason he hopes there will be a possible host in 2022 here. He further added that the love and enthusiast shown by Ghanaians for this sports, he is willing to support in any way possible to help develop this sports here in Ghana.

The Technical Director, Maxwell Borquaye took turns to demonstrate with two players how the sports is been played, explaining what close contact and full contact means in the game.
The Head of Finance, for the Ghana Exim Bank, Mr. Isaac Amissah-Addo, speaking on behalf of the CEO, stated that, as the local financier of the one district one factory, the support for this Sports align to that of the core mandate of their organization. He mentioned that, if the possible hosting takes place it will attract a host of foreigners into the country. This will enable them to embrace the culture of Ghana, whilst patronizing our products and services which will transform and accumulate in economic returns for the nation. He added that, since they are a state agency they are ready to supports the lesser known sports through the channel of NSA to get the necessary approval to host the event.

Speaking at the conference, the Ag. Deputy Director General (Technical), Mr. Kwame Amponfi Jnr., representing the Director General, Prof. Peter Twumasi, commended the Ghana Exim Bank for the partnership towards the Ju-Jutsu sports. He stated that, any sport that projects the image of Ghana, the NSA being the State Sports Regulatory body is willing to support by guiding them. He stated emphatically that, Prof Twumasi is ready to provide that support and ensure they pass through the due process to be fully acknowledged. He further urged the Local Ju-Jutsu Federation to work hard and fast to complete their national status registration process with the National Sports Authority so as to promptly attract State Support in all they do.
