A technical meeting was held on Thursday, May 19th, 2022 at the media centre of the Cape Coast Sports Stadium towards the commencement of the Confederation of African Athletics(CAA) Region II Championship.
The competition which commences today have countries like Ghana, Nigeria, Niger, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Mali, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Senegal, Benin and Togo participating.
The purpose of the meeting was to officially welcome all athletes from the various countries and as well spell out the technical rules, Do’s and Dont’s and expectations of the athletes with regards to the beckoning competition.
Present at the meeting were, the Vice President for CAA Region II ,Ms. Dogo Falilatou, Technical Delegate of CAA Region II, Nonvignon Okry Christophe, Deputy Technical Delegate, Ms. Fatou Sissoko, Technical Director for Region II, Missiri Sawadogo, General Secretary for Ghana Athletics Association(GAA), Bawah Fuseini and other important dignitaries.
